Grassroots Support

The Kind Communities Initiative - This is a free, web-based local communities project which is available to communities globally.  These small, interactive sites encourage individual participation in communities, use and recognise local talent of all kinds, deliver much-needed health information, and in general increase people's sense of belongingness, at the same time decreasing community challenges such as vandalism and other crime.  One small project was able to cut bullying in a local high school by 50% in just one week.  So far as we know, there are no other community programs currently delivering such outstanding results.

Better Support and Training for Health Professionals

Through our BMSA International division we provide the most up-to-date research, support and therapy training to mental health professionals world wide.  Our mission at www.BMSA-Int.com is to assist clinicians to move away from old-fashioned and ineffective methods such as CBT, to more modern and evidence-based interventions which actually do deliver results that clients want.  Through this program we have developed programs which have outstanding cure rates for common mental health problems, as well as for formerly-difficult cases such as long-term back pain and other chronic pain.

It may seem outrageous to you that so much on this site could be provided at no cost, but our long experience in on-line health delivery has shown that most people prefer to sit on the sidelines and learn from the experiences of others, some never interacting at all, and some interacting only to ask the odd question.  This is how we can afford to give such dedicated care to those who ask questions and interact with us here.  We treasure every member, from the shy silent member doing their best to be self sufficient and invisible, to the demanding member who wants more and more!

So the free membership is partially because the delivery method offers cost efficiency, but importantly it is cheap because of our over-riding passion to bring these methods to you no matter what your situation or where your location.  Our aim is nothing less than to change the face of mental health care and support globally, and forgoing profits to that end is completely understandable and justifiable.
